About The Position

This position is for a Caregiver in Jackson County, Medford, OR, offering part-time and full-time opportunities with a starting wage of $22.00 per hour. The role involves supporting individuals with disabilities to live full, independent, and joyful lives. Caregivers will assist with daily living activities, encourage independence through community outings, build life skills such as cooking and money management, and ensure care plans are followed, including medication reminders and progress documentation. Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • 1 or more years of care experience
  • CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
  • Own a smartphone
  • Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
  • Driver’s license and insurance for some roles

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Daily Living - From helping with meals, bathing, or getting ready for the day, you’ll provide care that helps members feel confident and comfortable.
  • Encouraging Independence - Join members on walks, shopping trips, or community outings, helping them connect with the world around them.
  • Building Life Skills - Teach and model everyday skills like cooking, managing money, and understanding social cues - empowering members to grow and thrive.
  • Keeping Things on Track - Follow care plans, offer medication reminders, and document progress so our team can celebrate every milestone together.
