About The Position

This Caregiver position offers a starting wage of $22.00 per hour in Jackson County, Medford, OR. The role involves supporting individuals with disabilities to live full, independent, and joyful lives. Schedules are available for weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evenings, with both part-time and full-time opportunities. Requirements

  • 18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
  • CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
  • Own a smartphone
  • Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
  • Driver’s license and insurance for some roles

Responsibilities

  • Support daily living activities, including meals, bathing, or getting ready for the day, to help members feel confident and comfortable.
  • Encourage independence by joining members on walks, shopping trips, or community outings, helping them connect with the world around them.
  • Build life skills by teaching and modeling everyday skills like cooking, managing money, and understanding social cues, empowering members to grow and thrive.
  • Keep things on track by following care plans, offering medication reminders, and documenting progress to celebrate every milestone together.
