This is a non-exempt, full-time or part-time, hourly role responsible for providing direct support within a single program or unit, typically supporting 4-6 individuals in residential settings or up to 10 individuals in periodic programs. The role involves delivering support according to individual service/program plans, including socialization, health maintenance, medication administration, and skill/behavioral development. Caregivers assist with a wide range of daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, and financial management. The position requires adherence to Sevita Customer Service Standards, accurate documentation, and reporting of incidents, while maintaining confidentiality and respecting the rights of individuals served. It also involves health care support, including accompanying individuals to appointments, medication administration, monitoring health, and meal preparation. Employees are expected to participate in training, adhere to scheduling, work as part of a team, and maintain workplace safety. Vehicle operation for transportation and general maintenance duties like housekeeping and minor repairs are also part of the role.
