About The Position

At Comfort Keepers, we believe in Elevating the Human Spirit through care that brings comfort, dignity, and connection. We’re seeking a caregiver in Saint Clair to provide morning support, companionship, and light assistance for a neighbor who enjoys cooking, baking, and staying engaged at home.

Saint Clair Opportunity — Morning Support & Companionship

Schedule:
Morning shift — 1 day per week
Back‑up caregiver role for last‑minute call‑offs and scheduled time off

Position Type:
Part‑Time (As‑Needed Back‑Up Role)

Care Needs Include:
Stand‑by assistance with walker use
Occasional wheelchair support for outings
Light housekeeping (bathroom, kitchen)
Laundry and changing bed linens
Medication reminders
Guided assistance with transfers and ambulation
Incontinence care
Support with showering (upstairs with stairlift access)
Companionship, conversation, and social engagement
Additional Notes:
Smoke‑free environment
Client is a fall risk and benefits from steady, supportive presence

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Able to pass background screening
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• Physically able to perform caregiving tasks
