About The Position

Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in South Knoxville. This role involves providing in-home care and support to clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in a safe and caring environment.

Requirements

• Genuine passion for helping others and providing quality care.
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.
• Pass background check and drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and support to enhance emotional and social well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning.
• Help clients with medication reminders and transportation to appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in the client’s home.
