As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to join us. We are urgently hiring for a caregiver to assist a client in Missouri City, TX (77459). Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Missouri City, TX 77459) Schedule: Short shifts, Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Type of Care: One-on-One care Special Requirement: Bilingual (Spanish) caregivers strongly preferred Driving Requirement: Must be able to drive the client (valid driver’s license and active auto insurance required)
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a caregiver
- Bilingual (Spanish) required
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance (required)
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients
- Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal, but not required
Responsibilities
- Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care
- Offer one-on-one full care assistance, ensuring client safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Drive the client to appointments, errands, and outings as needed
- Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean, healthy environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best quality of care
