About The Position

A Visiting Angels Caregivers' purpose is to provide assistance with daily activities, light housekeeping, errands, and meal management. We also provide protective oversight for our vulnerable clients, assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, and most importantly companionship for our dear clients. We do all of this to help our clients continue to live and age safely in their beloved home. Starting Pay $19.00 - $20.00 per h our. Overnight and Weekend Shifts Available as well as Full and Part Time Shifts in the Ignacio, CO area. We work with our applicants to create a set schedule that fits your lifestyle as well as the needs of our Clients! We understand that this is a remote area that will require some of our staff to commute from surrounding areas – Visiting Angels reimburses Mileage as well as travel time for our staff driving from the Farmington, Durango, Bayfield and Pagosa Springs areas between Clients. Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must have personal reliable transportation as well as up to date Auto Insurance
  • Must have a Smart Phone.
  • Must Have a Valid Driver’s License.
  • Be comfortable with assisting in Hygiene Care.
  • Be comfortable with assisting with the following or willing to learn how to: Cooking, Light Housekeeping, Menu Planning, Errands and Appointments, Fall Prevention, Transfers, Companionship and Assisting with all Activities of Daily Living.
