About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team at our assisted living facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. As a Certified Caregiver, you will also be responsible for administering medications, following care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote the best possible outcomes for each resident. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification Certification.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Negative TB Test (must be submitted before starting).
  • Knowledge of medication administration and documentation.
  • Ability to assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to senior care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to lift and transfer residents following safety protocols.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors with empathy.
  • Professional and positive demeanor at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in assisted living or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver medications as outlined in residents’ care plans.
  • Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and eating.
  • Observe and document residents’ health, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident’s unique needs.
  • Provide companionship and encourage a positive environment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free living environment.
  • Act quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.
  • Work closely with colleagues and communicate with families about resident care.
