Caregiver / Resident Care Assistant Anam Memory Care is a community rooted in love, nurturing, and friendship for individuals living with dementia. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care - mind, heart, body, and spirit - and we are growing our team of compassionate professionals. We are currently seeking a positive, dependable, and caring Caregiver (Resident Care Assistant) to join our team. Position Overview As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, safety, and meaningful engagement. You will help create a warm, homelike environment where residents feel valued and supported.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar care settings
- Experience working with individuals with dementia or older adults
- Knowledge of healthcare practices
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): dressing, hygiene, bathing, toileting, eating, mobility, and more
- Support instrumental ADLs: housekeeping, laundry, personal belongings, and telephone use
- Monitor resident safety and overall well-being
- Document important health and behavioral observations
- Participate in life enrichment activities alongside residents and Life Enrichment staff
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Complete light administrative and supply-related tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
