Requirements

Previous experience as a home health aide preferred but not required - training and PSS certifications provided.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Drivers license preferred - Access to reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a criminal and DHHS background check, and be willing to provide references.
Ability to think and work both independently and with direction
Must have exceptional personal hygiene
Must be able to stretch and lift and push - 25 lbs at least
Must be compassionate, respectful and professional

Responsibilities

Help clients with personal care needs, such as hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks.
Understanding clients ADL's and IADL's
Help with general light housekeeping and meal prep
Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed.
Follow treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
Observe and report on each client’s condition
Stay up to date with home health aide training, policies and procedures
