Requirements

Valid CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in good standing
Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience
CPR certification and negative TB test or chest x-ray
Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured transportation
Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality
Strong English communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with client mobility

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or Personal Care Aide is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, and transfers
Provide companionship and assist with errands, appointments, and daily activities
Meal Prep and light housekeeping
Support active and passive mobility exercises per the plan of care
Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the Director of Nursing
