Requirements
- A desire to make a difference in someone’s life
- Compassion & honesty
- A car, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass a criminal & Department of Motor Vehicles background check
- Professional references
- Registered on California’s Home Care Aide Registry
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- A passion for caring for others
- Physical ability to assist clients and lift up to 35 lbs
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Support client’s daily living activities (ADL’s) such as light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep
- Assist with personal care needs like grooming, bathing, dressing, etc.
- Provide medication reminders and transportation if needed
- Offer companionship through games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support
- Build meaningful relationships through companionship and care.
- Follow the care plan, monitor health changes and report updates to our care team
- Aiding with activities of daily living
- Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
- Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Providing companionship
