JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in culinary arts and related practices. Ensures students gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge through classroom lectures and hands-on demonstrations. Maintains a safe and organized learning environment, manages classroom and resources, and supports student success through accurate recordkeeping and timely feedback. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and deliver engaging classroom lectures and develop syllabi. Prepare and demonstrate effective food preparation techniques and culinary procedures. Teach proper methods of food handling, preparation, and presentation in both classroom and lab settings. Actively recruit and advise students to support successful enrollment. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, and submit grades promptly. Ensure a safe, organized, and productive learning environment at all times. Promptly report equipment malfunctions or damage to the appropriate personnel. Provide ongoing guidance and support to students to foster a positive and enriching educational experience. Oversee inventory and manage supplies, equipment, and materials for both the culinary classroom and lab. Monitor and maintain lab tools and equipment to prevent loss and damage. Completes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
