About The Position

The Career Studies Program is looking for students to serve as Peer Mentors to students with intellectual disabilities. Job Duties Attending class with students, providing academic and social support, attending club meetings or other on campus events, and other duties as needed. In this paid opening, hours are flexible and may include as little as two hours per week or as many as 20 hours per week.

Requirements

• Successful applicants are required to attend a Peer Mentor training session.
• This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
