The Career Services Support Specialist at ECPI University assists the Career Services team by coordinating career-related events, maintaining job search resources, and providing direct support to students and alumni.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, other career services software a plus .
• Ability to organize events and workshops effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students and faculty.
• Familiarity with employer hiring expectations

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Prior experience in career advising or employee recruitment preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing career fairs, workshops, and employer information sessions to connect students with potential employers.
• Maintain career services platforms, such as Handshake, to post job opportunities and track student engagement.
• Answer questions students may have regarding Career Services and assist those seeking employment while in school, including externships.
• Support the development and maintenance of relationships with local and regional employers to facilitate job placements and internships/externships.
• Monitor and report on employment outcomes, student participation in career services, and satisfaction metrics to inform continuous improvement.
