As a Career Services Specialist for West Coast University, a certified Great Place to Work, you will coordinate the graduate student's employment assistance process to meet student, alumni, institutional, and industry needs. This role involves assisting students in gaining meaningful employment in jobs applicable to their field of study for all diploma and Associate Degree programs. You will guide students with the job search process, including teaching workshops and critiquing resumes, and coordinate Career Job Fairs with employer representatives. The specialist is expected to provide excellent customer service to current and graduating students, aligning with the college's mission and purpose, and will coordinate and assist graduates with job interviews to help them obtain entry-level healthcare career opportunities.
