Requirements

2+ years in recruitment, staffing, or career services.
Stellar communication (written and verbal).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and video conferencing tools.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
A proactive, empathetic approach to guiding diverse students toward success.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

Source externship sites via cold calls, networking, and alumni engagement.
Match students with externships based on skills assessments and instructor feedback.
Conduct site visits to monitor student progress and address challenges.
Lead workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and job-search strategies.
Advise graduates on optimizing portfolios (resumes, certifications, references, etc.).
Track externship/job placements, employer contacts, and student progress in Campus Nexus .
Ensure compliance with externship requirements (background checks, certifications, etc.).
Collaborate with faculty, employers, and Advisory Boards to enhance graduate employability.
Represent the school at job fairs, graduations, and community events.
