This position requires an associate’s degree or two years of study from a college/university, and one year of employment in a related field such as recruiting, supervisory, or training. Our Career Services Advisor works with community members who would like assistance with career planning and certification training. Advisors help community members in job search activities, building computer skills, and other skill development opportunities! This position provides skill assessments for each job seeker to assist them in locating resources and tools for their desired goals, as well as maintaining and using that knowledge. Career Services Advisors assist job seekers in securing employment in the community by aiding with basic job search activities, resume writing, skill workshops, interview skills, and other employment activities. This position also assists with building and maintaining partnerships with area businesses, organizations, and schools to represent and market Goodwill resources to fit workforce needs.
