About The Position

BCIT is seeking a dedicated Hourly Career Major Tutor in the areas of Heavy Equipment / Automotive. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (required), with some college coursework preferred, and relevant vocational certification or work experience in the heavy equipment / automotive industry. This individual must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for supporting student success in hands-on, career-focused education.

Requirements

• High school diploma (required)
• Vocational certificate and/or relevant training or work experience in Heavy Equipment Diesel / Automotive trades
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to support students individually and in small groups
• Required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
• Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
• Drug testing required

Responsibilities
