About The Position

The Career Launch Program (CLP) is designed to cultivate future leaders within Blanchard Machinery Company through a structured, multi-track, rotational experience. Throughout a 6-8 month period, participants will gain broad exposure across our core business areas while developing leadership, technical, and business acumen. Participants will rotate through a series of departments: Sales, Rental, Energy, Accounting/Finance, and Product Support. Participants must be able to relocate within South Carolina to one of BMC’s branches for the rotational program. Tracks: Sales – Develop expertise in business development, territory management, and customer relationships. Learn to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Accounting/Finance – Gain knowledge in financial operations, credit, budgeting, and reporting. Support performance optimization through data-driven recommendations. Product Support – Learn the operational foundations of service, parts, warehouse, and field support. Focus on improving efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Rental – Learn to manage equipment rental operations, including fleet utilization, logistics, and customer service. Focus on optimizing efficiency, meeting customer needs, and driving rental business performance. Energy – Develop expertise in energy solutions for heavy machinery, including power systems, fuel management, and energy-efficient technologies. Gain experience supporting sales, operations, and strategic energy initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Logistics or related field required.
  • Strong leadership potential demonstrated through internships, coursework, or extracurricular experience.
  • Ability to travel and/or relocate for rotational assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to meet BMC Driver Qualifications Policy requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior exposure to heavy equipment or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills through professional development and on-the-job training.
  • Build relationships across departments and with customers to strengthen collaboration and service excellence.
  • Present findings and project outcomes to department managers and executives.
  • Upon completion, transition into a role within one of the rotational areas and continue professional development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
