About The Position

The Stage Manager is responsible for the organization, coordination, and smooth execution of all rehearsals and live performances. Serving as the central communication hub between the director, cast, crew, and production team, the Stage Manager ensures that every aspect of the production runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule. Requirements

  • Proven experience in stage management for theater, live events, or performing arts productions
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during production periods
  • Proficiency in production management software and digital collaboration tools

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director and Producers to develop rehearsal schedules and production timelines
  • Maintain and distribute stage plots
  • Run rehearsals and ensure adherence to schedule
  • Record blocking, cues, and production notes in the prompt book
  • Lead technical rehearsals, cue-to-cue runs, and dress rehearsals
  • Ensure backstage organization
  • Troubleshoot and resolve live production issues quickly and professionally
