About The Position

Qualicare Home Care is seeking a dependable, flexible Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to serve in a hybrid role combining direct client care, care coordination, and administrative support. This position is ideal for a motivated CHHA who wants guaranteed hours, steady income, and the opportunity to grow into leadership and office-based responsibilities. This team member will serve as a critical support resource by filling open shifts, assisting with client and caregiver coordination, and supporting onboarding and administrative functions.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey CHHA certification (Preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable with both field and office work
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Flexible and solution-focused mindset
• Must be available to take open personal care shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM
• Must be flexible to respond to short-notice coverage needs
• 30 guaranteed hours per week ($600/week)

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Care (CHHA Duties)
• Provide personal care services (ADLs)
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and meal prep
• Monitor client condition and report changes
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Open Shift Coverage
• Fill urgent or last-minute open shifts
• Support continuity of care
• Maintain professionalism and punctuality
• Care Coordination Support
• Assist with scheduling adjustments
• Communicate with caregivers regarding assignments
• Support client satisfaction follow-ups
• Help ensure care plans are being followed
• Escalate concerns to management
• Onboarding & Administrative Support
• Assist with caregiver onboarding paperwork
• Support compliance tracking
• Help with filing, documentation, and internal coordination
• Participate in training initiatives as needed
