About The Position

The Care Partner role is to assist the elder holistically, to be the best they can be physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as directed and requested by the elder, and guided by the growth and wellness plan created by the elder, family, and care team. Care Partners provide hands-on assistance for all activities of daily living.

Requirements

• Successfully complete training as required by state regulations
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit (as required by state regulations)
• Must be able to communicate effectively with elders, families, team members, vendors and the general public
• Must meet all health requirements, including physical exam and TB
• Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting and transfers.
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
