About The Position

The Retreat at Sunny Vista is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Partners to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team. Care Partners play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for our residents. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and making a meaningful difference every day. This is a Full-Time position. Night Shift 6 pm-6 am (12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week) Night shift receives a shift differential of $1.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or caregiving preferred (but not required)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
  • Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to assist with resident transfers and mobility support

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or caregiving preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Support residents with memory loss by offering patience, reassurance, and structured routines
  • Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to the nurse or a member of management
  • Assist with meal service, hydration, and nutrition monitoring
  • Encourage resident engagement in daily activities and social programs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
  • Follow all care plans, safety protocols, and community policies
  • Promote resident dignity, respect, and privacy at all times
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and leadership team members
