About The Position

We have a wonderful new Nursing Leadership Team - come join them! Our full-time team members work Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Part-time team members will work two days a week plus one weekend day. If you aren't certified - that's not a problem. We'll train you! The Ridge Foothill will also pay for your CNA Class and Certification, if you are interested. We also provide other opportunities for you to self-promote up our Career Ladder at your own pace! We’re seeking caring and qualified full-time and part-time Caregivers / Care Partners for all shifts to assist our residents by supporting their personal hygiene and daily living needs. As front-line caregivers, our team members continuously work with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.

Requirements

  • Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, the flexibility to perform various duties in service to the residents and the ability to work in a team environment are keys to success
  • Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Minimum age of 16

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident centered personal care including bathroom assistance, washing, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, and social support
  • Assist residents in transferring, repositioning and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
  • Deliver a positive dining experience and assist residents with meals, snacks and supplements
  • Document resident care and behavior
