About The Position

Join our team as a Care Coordinator Auth Scheduling Specialist, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely, well-coordinated care. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior computer experience required.
  • Customer service experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of insurance coverage (FSC/Coverage/Plan types) and medical necessity guidelines preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical records or medical record software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and process patient referrals, coordinating between referring and receiving practices or departments.
  • Prepare and communicate financial estimates for patients as needed.
  • Secure all required authorizations to ensure timely patient care.
  • Guide patients toward providers within their insurance network.
  • Review benefits and educate patients on insurance coverage and financial responsibility.
  • Schedule surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, and other clinical services with internal and external providers.
  • Review daily schedules to ensure accuracy, proper time allocation, and efficient workflow.
  • Follow up on all referrals to prevent care gaps and support seamless patient experiences.
