About The Position
Trustbridge Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated RN Manager to work with us at our Inpatient Care Center in West Palm Beach while providing exceptional care on the following schedule: 9:00pm - 7:30am and every other weekend Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has been honored to serve families across Palm Beach and Broward counties with compassionate, community-based care. Formed from the legacy of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County, we continue to provide comfort, dignity, and peace to those facing advanced illness.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification.
- One year of recent leadership experience in hospice, oncology, medical/surgical, or home health, public/health, geriatric care experience preferred.
- Expertise in support skills, palliative care, and educational techniques.
- Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Hospice certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supports and carries out the organization's mission, vision, and values on a consistent basis.
- Serves as a professional leader in assessing, planning, guiding and evaluating patient care.
- Interacts with management, physicians, and field staff utilizing a teamwork approach.
- Assists with training, and evaluation of all team clinical personnel; and maintenance/development of the clinical record
- Processes all Electronic Medical Record workflow from Admission to Discharge
