Performs high-quality vascular exams using IAC-accredited protocols including LE, UE Venous, Carotid, PVR, Venous Insufficiency, and/or arterial duplex and/or vein mapping, radials. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures. Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members. Maintain equipment and exam rooms per infection control standards. Participate in lab quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions. Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and comfort with digital imaging systems. Attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and protocols. Must be able to lift and position patients and equipment as needed. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or holidays. Must maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and continuing education requirements.
