About The Position

Talent Consultants is looking for a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and procedures to assess patients' cardiovascular health. Your skills in cardiac imaging and non-invasive testing will help ensure early detection and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, directly contributing to improved patient care.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) or equivalent certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
• Previous experience in a cardiovascular laboratory or related clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Strong technical skills with diagnostic equipment and information systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and stress tests.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Operate diagnostic equipment, ensuring its proper use and maintenance according to safety standards.
• Analyze and interpret test results, preparing detailed reports for physicians.
• Assist in the monitoring of patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular technology and techniques to provide the best care possible.
