Cardiovascular Technologist | Catheterization Lab
About The Position
CentraCare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will assist in a variety of technical procedures in the Heart Catheterization Lab and/or Surgery utilizing specialized angiographic equipment and/or complex computerized monitoring equipment to provide diagnostic and/or therapeutic results for the purpose of patient care. This position collaborates with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, timely, and patient- and family-centered care in alignment with CentraCare’s purpose of enhancing every life we touch with care and compassion.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required
- Graduate of a Cardiovascular Technology program required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy required.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential through the CCI if hired after 2006 among employment required within 1 Year.
Nice To Haves
- Registry preferred.
- 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab of comparable size and workload preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
