Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years’ experience and:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
- BLS required
- ACLS required
Nice To Haves
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred)
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license OR
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
- any of the four license/certifications above within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields
Responsibilities
- The Cath Lab CVT, under the direction the of the director/charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies
- Ensures safe patient care
- Works as a scrub assistant
- On call required and must live w/in on-call radius.
