Job Summary and Responsibilities Sign-on Bonus and Education Assistance Available discuss with Recruiter Mon-Thurs 8:30am-7:00pm- No Call and No Weekends As a Circulating Registered Nurse in our CVOR, you will be a vital member of the surgical team, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of patient care during complex cardiovascular procedures. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Preparing the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available and functioning correctly. Assisting the surgical team with patient preparation and positioning, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. Meticulously monitoring the patient's vital signs throughout the procedure, promptly reporting any changes to the surgical team. Maintaining a sterile field and adhering to strict infection control protocols to minimize the risk of complications. Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing proactive assistance to ensure a smooth workflow. Accurately and thoroughly documenting all relevant patient information, procedures, and observations. Actively participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Collaborating effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses. Demonstrating proficiency in the use of specialized CVOR equipment and technologies.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Experience In Surgery as RN required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • ACLS required within 5 months.
