About The Position

Cardiovascular Invasive Technologists in electrophysiology assist physicians in performing multiple procedures including ablations, pacemaker implants, and structural heart procedures. They assist physicians by managing fluoroscopy and radiologic equipment, maintaining sterile technique, passing instruments and catheters, and monitoring patients. Requirements

  • Associates degree in radiologic technology, allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is required
  • Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire

  • Experience in radiology/diagnostic imaging is preferred
