About The Position

Memorial Health University Medical Center seeks an innovative surgeon who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The incoming surgeon will work closely with a dedicated team of interventional and noninvasive cardiologists as well as a rapidly growing structural heart and advanced valve program-supported by strong institutional commitment to programmatic growth and innovation. Program highlights include: State-of-the-art robotics platform available Dedicated cardiovascular ORs and CVICU Full spectrum of advanced therapies: ECMO, TAVR, TMVR, and Open Heart Surgery Strong partnership with cardiology teams actively engaged in clinical research and trials Join a collegial team of two experienced Cardiovascular Surgeons within a comprehensive program

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Fellowship trained in adult Cardiac Surgery preferred
Proficient in all aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery
Experience with multi-arterial CABG, minimally invasive coronary surgery, MIDCAB procedures, and/or interest in robotic-assisted coronary and Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass (TECAB) techniques is highly desirable but not required
Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license (free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions)
No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
Have current, unrestricted DEA registration

Nice To Haves

Fellowship trained in adult Cardiac Surgery preferred
