About The Position

AdventHealth Redmond is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our nationally recognized program in Northwest Georgia. The ideal surgeon would have a strong interest in thoracic surgery and program development with ability to maintain a cardiac surgery mix. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-performing, faith-based health system committed to whole-person care. Our physicians enjoy full access to an expert team of caregivers including: medical oncology, radiation oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, radiology and an experienced OR staff and support including advanced practice providers. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board-certified or board-eligible through American Board of Thoracic Surgery
Eligible for Georgia medical licensure
Passion for growing a thoracic surgery program

Responsibilities

Perform a full range of adult cardiothoracic procedures including thoracic surgeries, CABG, and valve repair/replacement
Help lead and grow our thoracic program throughout our Georgia market
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, pulmonologists, and critical care physicians
Contribute to quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiatives
