About The Position

As a Cardiopulmonary Educator with CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to use your clinical skills to be an educator to your patients and their caregivers, helping them understand their complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies by providing infusion training and clinical support. This is a direct-hire, full-time position. In this role you will: Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate the patient's plan of care. Work within a highly specialized area of nursing and enjoy the autonomy that comes from working within a home care service. Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH. Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting. Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners Participate in the on-call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once every 4-6 weeks. Travel: Travel will be via car and airplane to see patients, support our sales team, and for training as needed. Can anticipate working from home approximately 50% of the time. Approximately 50% of the time you will visit patients throughout South Florida from Vero Beach/Fort Lauderdale down to the Keys. But will need to have the flexibility to travel by plane to other East Coast states as needed (mostly when participating in the on-call rotation once every 4-6 weeks). Candidates must reside within one hour of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Overnight travel is a possibility, especially when on-call once every 4-6 weeks. Requirements

  • Must live within one hour of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
  • Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted license in the state of FL with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area
  • Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
  • Participate in the on call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs
  • Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
  • Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension - PAH is great, but not required
  • Home healthcare and pediatric experience is preferred, but not required
  • CRNI certification is preferred, but not required
