About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Part-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Requirements

  • Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient cardiology care in a collaborative team environment
  • Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
  • Perform exercise echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiogram and participate in advanced cardiac imaging
  • Teach and mentor medical residents and Weill Medical College of Cornell University
  • Engage in scholarly activities and participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $169,050 (Board Eligible) $174,300 (Board Certified) based on 21-hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
  • Projected bonus of up to $21,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
