About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Part-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Requirements

Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient cardiology care in a collaborative team environment
Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
Perform exercise echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiogram and participate in advanced cardiac imaging
Teach and mentor medical residents and Weill Medical College of Cornell University
Engage in scholarly activities and participate in performance and quality improvement initiatives

Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $169,050 (Board Eligible) $174,300 (Board Certified) based on 21-hour work week.
Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
Projected bonus of up to $21,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
