JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: General Cardiology (Non-Interventional) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Lewisburg, PA • Service Setting: Hospital/Outpatient Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: May 18, 2026 – Ongoing (minimum 6 months) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM • On-Call Shift Schedule: - 1–2 nights per week - weekend call 1:4–1:5 • Call Type: Night and weekend call with rounding • Call Ratio: 1–2 nights/week; 1:4–1:5 weekends • Callback Rate: Minimal (nights 0; weekends rounding only) PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 17–18 patients per day • Admissions: Included • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Included • Case Mix: General cardiology including nuclear reads, stress tests, TEE, cardioversions, echo monitoring FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 150 beds • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Cardiology clinic and cath lab resources (non-interventional role) • Specialty Backup Available: APP support with interventional cardiology team • Support Staff Available: Clinic and hospital support staff • Reason for Coverage: Ongoing coverage need PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (clean file) • Credentialing Timeline: Expedited with temps available COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Not Specified REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Nuclear cardiology reads • Stress testing • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) • Cardioversions • Echocardiography interpretation JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: PA license required (IMLC accepted) • Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology • DEA: Required • Certifications: Nuclear and Echo board certification required; CT certification preferred • Experience: Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience • Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable with full-scope general cardiology DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology care • Perform diagnostic and procedural cardiology services • Participate in call rotation and inpatient rounding • Collaborate with cardiology and APP team • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
