About The Position

The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Florida seeks a highly qualified invasive or non-invasive cardiologist to join our expanding practice. Ideal candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible for cardiovascular diseases and Adult Congenital Heart Disease and have an interest in clinical service, research and education. The clinical responsibilities would include direct inpatient and outpatient care in prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and cardiovascular imaging. Educational engagement includes teaching and mentoring general cardiology fellows and internal medicine residents. The research responsibilities include participating and generating new research within cardiovascular medicine with emphasis in adult congenital heart disease, underrepresented minorities and access to healthcare, or ethnicity differences in cardiovascular care, and then publishing these results in peer-reviewed journals. Requirements

  • Eligible for FL medical license
  • BC/BE in Cardiovascular Diseases
  • BC/BE in Adult Congenital Heart Disease
  • BC/BE in Echocardiography

Responsibilities
