In our Cadiac Cath Lab, our technologists work closely with our Interventional cardiologists to employ a range of interventional techniques designed to improve blood flow to the heart and decrease the need for open-heart surgery. In one of three, state-of-the-art, digital cineflouroscopic laboratories, highly skilled specialists perform radiographic procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of cardiac problems. Our coordinated team approach supports our hospital commitment to Putting Patients First.
Requirements
- Current New York State Radiology Technologist License
- Cardiac Interventional Radiography Certification (CI from ARRT)
Nice To Haves
- Prior IR, Cath Lab/EP experience preferred.
- BLS/ACLS
- RCIS certification (required within 3 years of hire)
