About The Position

Provides direct patient care and evaluates outcome. Monitors quality control of equipment and participates in continuing quality improvement in the assigned division. Provides transportation of patients. Communicates patient/family health care needs to the appropriate heath care provider. Participates as a member of the team to achieve business goals, quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. Practices within legal, ethical and professional boundaries.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Role/job working in a service/public arena.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical terminology course, college courses in health-related fields.
  • Cardiac related experience, one year as a nursing assistant, EMT or similar medical experience.
  • Knowledge of techniques required in providing basic patient care services.
  • Good understanding of basis of asepsis and sterile technique to avoid infections of patient and self or contamination of equipment and supplies.
  • Basic understanding of computer operations.
  • Ability to use Microsoft: Word, Access, Excel, Windows and GroupWise.
