The Monitor Technician's primary function is to evaluate the cardiac rhythm status of adult patients while on telemetry monitoring and identify and report cardiac rhythm emergencies as well as rhythm changes to both the RN and physician.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience with cardiac monitoring preferred.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Must have good, basic math skills (decimals, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities
- The Monitor Technician's primary function is to evaluate the cardiac rhythm status of adult patients while on telemetry monitoring and identify and report cardiac rhythm emergencies as well as rhythm changes to both the RN and physician.
