About The Position
Seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy acute care environment. This role involves monitoring telemetry patients, managing complex medical conditions, and working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent acute care RN experience (within last 4 years)
- Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
- ACLS required within 90 days of hire
- Compact-license RNs with 3+ years experience must apply for a Florida RN license
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry patients and respond to changes in condition
- Provide care to post-surgical and acute Med-Surg patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
