About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiac Stress Technician who is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about cardiovascular care. In this role, you’ll work closely with physicians and clinical staff to perform cardiac stress testing while delivering a safe, supportive, and positive experience for every patient.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or a related field or successful completion of a Cardiac Technician course
• Strong proficiency in 12-lead ECG interpretation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Prior clinical experience required; cardiology experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred
• cardiology experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear and non-nuclear cardiac stress testing under the supervision of the onsite physician and registered nurse
• Prepare patients for testing by reviewing medical history, medications, and symptoms
• Obtain and document vital signs and perform EKG monitoring throughout stress testing
• Demonstrate strong 12-lead ECG interpretation during testing
• Apply heart monitors and provide clear instructions on use
• Administer exercise and pharmacological stress tests as directed
• Enter and maintain accurate clinical data in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Educate patients on procedures, expectations, and safety
• Initiate Basic Life Support (BLS) measures when required and directed
• Support clinic operations and complete additional duties as assigned
