Cardiac Sonographer (Full-Time)

Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today. Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on the adult and geriatric patient population. Responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC.
Requirements
- An appropriate credential in echocardiography: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Nice To Haves
- Membership in professional society or societies related to the field of sonography.
- Graduate of an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program.
