We are looking to hire a Cardiac Sonographer II! As a Cardiac Sonographer II at MercyOne Genesis, you will: Provide safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for newborn through aging adult patients undergoing echocardiography testing and/or procedures Acquire ultrasound images, evaluate tests using critical thinking and evidence based practice Process echocardiography studies for physician interpretation for structured reporting in adherence to American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities in an ICAEL accredited facility Schedule : 6:30a - 5:00p 8 hour shifts 38 hours per week Rotating weekends Rotating holidays Rotating on call
Requirements
- 2 year Cardiac Ultrasound college program or equivalent experience
- Previous pediatric through adult experience in cardiac ultrasound
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or registry eligible and must get registered within 1 year of accepting position.

- TAVR experience preferred
Responsibilities
