About The Position

As part of the non-invasive cardiology team, the Cardiac Sonographer II performs high quality echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echo, nuclear perfusion tests, TEE's, and holter monitoring. The role also involves providing exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and effectively communicating procedures to patients and their families. The position requires the ability to use EKG and Echo Management systems, as well as the electronic medical record System (EPIC), and may include other assigned duties.

Requirements

Completion of a Cardiac Sonography Program
RDCS or RCS required
Current BLS
Successful completion of a Cardiac Sonography program with externship
At least 1-2 years hospital experience performing echocardiography, EKG, and stress testing
The ability to push and position EKG and Echo equipment as needed
Effective written and communication skills in English
Ability to work productively in a busy complex environment
Be able to use EKG and Echo Management systems
Be able to use our electronic medical record System (EPIC)
Some data entry required
