About The Position

Innovative Therapy Concepts is searching for a Registered Nurse to work in our Cardiopulmonary Rehab Department. A minimum of twelve months of experience with the treatment of cardiovascular patients is necessary. The Cardiac Rehab RN specializes in the care and management of pre and post-cardiac care of adult and geriatric patients; provides rehabilitative care, education, and psychosocial support to patients; and acts as a resource for nursing personnel. The Cardiac Rehab RN will work both in the acute and outpatient settings providing care to Cardiac patients receiving Phase 1, 2 and 3 Rehabilitation . Other important qualities we are searching for are teamwork, excellent communication, ability to multi-task and flexibility.

Use of intranet, Microsoft Outlook, Current EMR, MD Portal, Lawson, NetLearning, Microsoft Office Products, therapy related equipment, software and patient education resources.
Daily operation and basic maintenance of office equipment and machines such as phone system, fax, copier, etc.
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines, equipment and tools, which may include computer, printer, facsimile machine, copier, calculator, etc.
Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials.
Must be able to exert up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally and/or up to ten (10) pounds frequently.
Physical demand requirements are at levels of those for sedentary work with continuous up and down movement from chair.
Requires the ability to learn and understand relatively complex principles and techniques; to make independent judgement in absence of supervision; to acquire knowledge of topics related to primary occupation.
Requires the ability to record and deliver information to explain procedures, to follow verbal and written instructions.
