Responsibilities Under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to cardiovascular patients demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

Requirements

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required or Graduate of a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program Required
1 year of patient care experience in a cardiovascular setting, OR Certification from Required or No experience required and a certificate from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
If incumbent does not meet the 1 year work experience, then on of the following is required Upon Hire Required
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Certification from a Nursing Assistant or OR one year of patient care experience in a cardiovascular setting Upon Hire Required or Patient Care Technician program Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities
