About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Cardiac Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent opportunity in Sanford, Florida. The Cardiac Neuro Tele RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions in a medical telemetry setting. This role supports patients recovering from stroke, cardiac events, and post-cardiac procedures while prioritizing patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the position you are applying for.
Florida RN license required; compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 90 days of hire.
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care RN experience required.
Telemetry and cardiac nursing experience required.
American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
Strong cardiac monitoring, neurological assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing observation, assessment, and evaluation of patients with cardiac and neurological conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed providers.
Monitor telemetry, cardiac rhythms, and neurological status, intervening appropriately for changes in condition.
Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs and clinical priorities.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and recovery expectations.
Promote patient safety, wellness, and satisfaction in a fast-paced medical telemetry environment.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
